DIBELS
is a research based fluency system designed by the University of
Oregan. The testing materials are free to download although you do have
to pay for the monitoring materials and if you would like to use
the data analysis service.

provides MP3 stories and text - these could be downloaded and used in a listening center.

looks at fluency and has links to resources and websites related to
fluency.
EasyCBM
- this website is free and offers monitoring passages for fluency and
comprehension K-8. You can load your students names and data in the
system and it will generate graphs showing their progress. | | This
is the fluency page from the National Institute for Literacy and
contgains an explanation of fluency and how to assess it as well as
some video examples.
CBM Reading Fluency Passage Generator
- Great for creating fluency passages. Just copy the text you want to
use onto the page and then the website will give you a reading level,
count the words - set you up for success.
Rubric for assessing fluency. This rubric was designed to give students
a grade for fluency as well as help them to develop a goal for the
future by giving them a number to aim for to increase their speed. |
